At least four civilians were killed and 11 others were wounded in an explosion on Kabul-Logar highway on Thursday afternoon, the provincial governor’s media office said in a statement.
The target of the roadside bomb explosion was a convoy of the Afghan Army, the statement said, but it affected civilians who were traveling on the highway.
No harm was inflicted to Army personnel who were passing through the area, the statement said.
The statement said that the blast damaged four civilian vehicles.
