At least four civilians were killed and five others were injured in a roadside bomb blast in western Farah province on Monday morning, provincial governor said in a statement.
The blast took place in Khak-e Safid district of the province when a civilian vehicle struck a roadside bomb, the statement said.
"The victims were residents of Khost village of Khak-e Safid who were traveling into the capital to buy food," it said.
The victims have been taken to the hospital for treatments.
No group including the Taliban claimed responsibility for the blast.
