He went to Habibia High School and then to Kabul University and completed his bachelor’s degree in agriculture and received his master’s level degree in management from the American University in Pakistan.
He worked as head of MDC for many years, headed the Afghan campaign against mines, and served as a lecturer at Kabul University.
In his presidential team, Abdul Ali Surabi and Noor-ul-Habib Aser are his running mates.
