After disagreements over the similar markings of vote sheets, observers from presidential candidate Abdullah Abdullah and opponent Ashraf Ghani-Ahmadzai's electoral teams engaged in a physical brawl on Wednesday.
The process was halted for a bit, but is said to have resumed after 15 minutes. Monitors from both teams have accused one another for starting the fight.
Aside from the brawl, both camps have expressed that they have maintained frank working relationships.
Up to 1,044 domestic and international monitors as well as agents of the two electoral teams oversee the audit process in two working shifts.
